Contemporary Abstract Art in Asia and the West, Pearl Lam Galleries, Singapore

Pearl Lam Galleries' inaugural exhibition in Singapore, titled "Where Does It All Begin?", explores and refutes the myth that contemporary art from Asia is dependent on Western art, while revealing and celebrating the complex and ongoing dialogue between Western and Asian abstract art. It provides a unique opportunity to see major artists from around the world such as Pat Steir, Zhu Jinshi, Su Xiaobai, Peter Peri and Chrstine Ay Tjoe side by side, exploring and revealing the power of abstract art today.

Where Does It All Begin? Contemporary Abstract Art in Asia and the West: Pat Steir, Zhu Jinshi, Su Xiaobai, Peter Peri, Christine Ay Tjoe at Pearl Lam Galleries, Singapore. An Evening at Gillman Barracks, Singapore, January 17, 2014.
